The Authors Narker & Petermann

Hoosain Narker, the International Director for Ashihara Karate, and a 8th Dan martial artist with over forty years‟ experience. He holds Dan Ranking in Ashihara Karate, Kyokushin, Goju Ryu and Taekwondo. Erik Petermann started his martial arts career with Judo, at age ten, changing to Karate a few years later. He worked as a bouncer for five years, has been shot twice and stabbed three times. Erik has taught traditional arts and self-defence locally as well as Internationally as well as running a Mixed Martial Arts Gym. He has written and published five books and produced one educational DVD on Piper Knife Fighting.
