It’s a great book I enjoyed it! – Kancho Robert McInnes, Thailand World Kumite Organisation

Hi Shihan, It is a powerful book and very insightful. I gave it to my son to read it, he loves it. Well done Shihan🙏🏼 – Shihan Isaac Maila, South Africa, Yuishinkai Karate & Ryukyu Kobudo Hozon Shinkokai

Osu Kaicho!. I enjoyed your book, but was jealous on the many talented kickers, which I am sad to say has escaped me as I approach 70. But still training quite well, fortunately. Thanks for putting together your book. It’s contemporary but still reminds me of tradition, a wonderful combination. I do like to believe that karatedo has a moral fiber, and that through constant training in the Way, being and doing good, has merit.. OSU. – Kancho Dan Soller, USA, Phoenix Kyokushin Karate Organisation

The book is great quality btw!. It’s brilliant! It takes me back to the good old days of going to the library and looking through tutorial books of karate! Matteo Zambon, UK, Ashihara Karate

Hello there,  I have received the book. Very well written. Definitely a work to be proud of.  Liam Camm Ireland

So far, I think it’s one of the most intriguing books about karate I read. I guess it’s your writing style. Same with karate odyssey. It gives a personal touch as if you’re telling a story. Abu Rayhan, Ashihara the Netherlands

Great presentation, well considered from many angles speaking of which, your application of karate are leagues ahead of most of what is presently taught. Robert Allen Pittman, Martial Artist Exta-Ordinaire

I didn’t find any spelling mistakes, more importantly I didn’t read anything that I thought” bullshit, that’s not right!” Which is the hardest thing when you’re writing for readers who are all “experts” just ask them😂 I’ve got post it notes all through, to go back and re. Read now. You’ve done well to write for the beginners and the long-term practitioners. I’m pretty rusty at the moment, but I’ve given the nod for a BJJ black belt grading next month, which I’m not really looking forward to…  Tim Malloch, Ashihara Australia

Thank You Sensei Hoosain Narker for writing a powerful book on Martial Arts.  The book specialises in Karate and the history of Karate through South Africa.
I thought the book is very well written and touches many aspects on why we do martial arts. How it builds respect for ourselves and others. We train to become better people to one another and we use our skills to better our communities.
Martial Arts has a way to bring us closer as a community.  It also talks about self-defence as a whole and it touches base between reality vs ego.
As a true martial artist with 50 years of sweat and blood to pass on the wisdom to younger generations. I am enjoying this book and hope others read it too. Marco Albeldas, Wing Tsun Kung Fu South Africa
